Cviček 2004, Vinska Klet Krško, Slovenia
Cvicek (Cviček) is a typical, somewhat weird, sour wine mix from Slovenia. Vinska Klet Krško is supposedly making a very good one, though I don't really like any of them. Served at home. A gift, of course.
"Cviček is a synonym for the Dolenjska region and Slovenia, a true ''wine specialty'' which embodies and presents all the qualities of its land of origin - Dolenjska. Cviček p.t.p. is made from the reddish, red and white grape varieties produced in the winegrowing district of Dolenjska. The largest producers of cvièek are organised in cooperative Konzorcij cviček, z.o.o."
